Free UK delivery – Handcrafted Rat Bait guitar built in June 2024 from new and reclaimed parts – Full scale. Available on eBay:
This Telecaster inspired guitar body is made from salvaged material, pieces scavenged from various places: a bit of 1940s furniture, Exmoor Spruce and parts of a 1990s flatpack bookcase, all assembled, constructed and shaped by hand in a rat infested shed in North Devon. This barnwood style body is routed to take a standard neck pickup and standard Telecaster bridge pickup. A handmade rustic body that has dents, scratches and is finished in beeswax.

Rat Bait Guitars are different from other guitars in several ways. First of all, they are made from recycled wood gathered from various sources, such as old furniture, fence posts, roof constructions, flooring, and more.
These discarded bits of timber are reused and reshaped into guitar bodies that have a unique character and history. The wood is also upcycled, repurposed, and recycled, which means that it reduces waste and saves resources. Rat Bait Guitars are custom built, which means that each guitar is one of a kind and not repeatable.
